Message from the founder president
I would like to begin the great words from Mahatmaa Gandhi- the great prophet of truth and non-violence –
“Non-violence is the greatest force at the disposal of mankind. It is mightier than the mightiest weapon of destruction devised by the ingenuity of man”
Our goal is to spread the message that non-violence, tolerance, respect for human rights, and democracy that imparts the knowledge of non violence and develop the peace culture for children. Children are the world’s most valuable resources and its best hope for the future.
It is a privilege for me to be closely involved in the formation of this unique organization since 2010 (When Rabina Foundation was established legally in USA). Rabina Foundation has been established with a great team comprising my friends, well wishers, professional colleagues and business person in USA. We can not change the world, but we can bring some changes or can see some smile on the face of children with our small contribution for the children with disability and children affected by armed conflict by providing medical treatment, education, and other essential services to participate as equal citizens of the country.
My journey to business sector for a long time get in touched with the people in different sectors. My 20 years journey in business and social service field have motivated me to do something for our own motherland. I was motivated and encouraged by many social and community workers, government officials, NGO staffs, and policy makers who were keen to work for children with disability and children affected by conflict
We formed this organization with a great vision a new world where no child is denied his or her human rights because of his/her disability. Every child is born with exceptional talent. Like the pillar of a house, children are the building block of their nation. Therefore, it is the duty of each citizen to foster every child in our society to become an able citizen. A set of unavoidable circumstances – natural disasters, the country’s frail economy, and even the decade long Maoist-led war – have, unfortunately, forced thousands of children to adopt the life of disability and orphans. They are deprived of their fundamental child rights such as getting basic education. Rabina Foundation is dedicated to helping the needy and destitute children – aims to uplift these particular children, children with disability, orphan and offering them the education.
As one of the founders, I owe a great deal to everyone for their sincere generosity from the very beginning of Rabina Foundation. It would not have been possible to even think of such a task without their encouraging response. The every small contribution can lead to a great change in the long run. So all of us, with the collective efforts from all sides, can bring about changes in our society and wider community. And I look forward to making things different in the very same way.
At last, I would like to appeal to every individual, civil society members and business person to join hands with Rabina Foundation to fulfill its goal.
